- Description: This marker along the Daniel Boone Trail describes the White Rock Cliffs that are visible along Highway 58 near Ewing, VA.
The sign states; "The cliffs to the North were a familiar landmark along the Wilderness Road which was blazed by Daniel Boone in March 1775, and whioch was the principal route from Virginia to Kentucky. They are part of the Cumberland Mountains." - Photographer: David Cate
